LOVE is the power!

This was written yesterday around 4p.m.:
We're sitting at the moment in the car rolling from Berlin to Wrocław in Poland. Our trip is ending right now. We feel tired. It's exhaustion after 40 days of traveling, exploring, talking, dancing, laughing and crying... We have seen so much and we've met plenty of good people. There are no words which can describe all what happened to us thanks to this experience, but it was for sure one of the best lessons of lifes. Now we want to say 2 things.
First of all – THANK ALL OF YOU! Thanks to all people, who became part of that project, helped and supported us in any way. Especially we want to thank our parents, who are the best parents in the world and thanks to their support we could afford and achieve all what we did and still do. Weronika sends special thanks to Tobi, her boyfriend, who was brave and let her go (she can't wait to come back to him=to her home!). We both send special thanks to everyone, who was our host and driver, and very often became a great friend afterwards... There are people we met during a journey who will stay in our hearts forever. Thank you for making us feel like home, wherever we've been. We thank Radiofonia for having faith in us and for supporting the whole project on air. And we thank our friends, friends of friends and everyone, who was following us here on our blog. Your support was the greatest motivation and always pushed us to explore further.
Our first day in Kraków was focused on... YOU - we are sending huge, huge thanks to all of you from the heart of our city!
Second thing – we want to present you the latest news. On next Saturday, 4th of September you will have the chance to see us live in Dzień Dobry TVN show. We will be talking about our alternative idea of spending holidays. It's possible that you will see us also in TVP2 in one of the shows, but we will present you more details about this in next days. And the greatest news in our opinion is that we are starting to organize the event in Kraków, where we will discuss about the whole project, present more videos and pictures and make an all night party afterwards to celebrate our coming back and possibility of meeting all of you – FINALLY! Of course everyone is invited! And if someone will need a place to sleep in Kraków, don't hesitate to request us on Couchsurfing – now we can be your hosts :) More information about the whole event will be presented as soon as possible. If someone would like to help us with organizing, please contact us via E-mail. Any ideas, suggestions, support are more than welcome.

Remember: this is not the end. The trip is ending now, but the journey will never stop!

Berlin was calling us!

Our last stop before coming back to Poland was in the city, which has a complicated and inspiring history behind. But Berlin has a special meaning also for both of us since a very long time. This time visiting was really fast, but intensive. We walked around our favorite districts - Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg and Prenzlauer Berg. We've spent much too much money in second-hand shops and of course joined an amazing techno party in definitely one of the best clubs in the city - Watergate. The view from the dance-floor was so fu**ing great that we couldn't believe in it the whole night. Here you can touch a bit of the soul of Berliner:
Street-art is an inherent part of Berlin. "You are me" and "A bit more love" - do you agree?

Living just next to the water. Taking the boat and going to work.

Fashion. Berlin knows how to do it.

Berlin Wall: we didn't know before that "Berlin kocha Szczecin" what basicly means, that Berlin loves Stettin, Weronika's family town. But let's better not translate the-wszczym-ryj-thing... ;)

We are HIPPIE – it's Amsterdam!

Everyone who has already been in Amsterdam probably knows, that the city is a perfect Neverland for adults. But how to explain the meaning of this place to those, who haven't been there yet...? Hm... Try to imagine the place, where you feel a real freedom, what opens your mind and provokes to make your life as creative and at the same time happy, as you always wanted. And it's not about smoking weed or having gay-sex (if you want this?). It's about the way of living, happy living, where everyone respects the other one and creates it's own reality in totally fabulous way. It's really hard to explain. Pictures can help, but... We recommend everyone to go there and feel it, just feel it – than you will understand ALL :)
First you open your window to the world. Isnt it good living?

Then you enjoy your time, cook the dinner and go - dance with the city!

Later visit squats. A real hippie style of living in old tram or bus somwhere in the middle of empty island, just next to a big city...

If you look for an intensive and special taste, go to one of the national bars and order chocolate-sherry liqueur!

Very tight kind of a tenement houses (they're called merchants' houses actually) are typical view lining the canals.

So easy-going! Take your bike and go wherever you want!

Netherlands is famous for tulips, but you will find there much bigger selection of wonderful and very unique flowers.
You are Amsterdam!

Before we came to Amsterdam, we spent 1 night in Belgium as well. It was a little village called Da Haan on the North Sea. Our friend Patrycja works there, so...
So... she went on vacation and we stayed behind the bar and served coffee&lunch. Was a lot of fun there!

PS We are very, very close to finish our trip. Regarding to that: good news will be presented in the next days. And, as always, you will find more pictures on our Facebook soon. Stay in touch!

Orange is the colour of Spain. Paris will always stay blue.

We've chosen San Sebastian as a place to say "goodbye" to Spain. It was great to experience the Basque culture, especially that we had an opportunity to participate in the bigest regional Fiesta. Wonderful fireworks show made us feel as little kids again and we'll keep that views for a long time. After that we spent one night in a small village near Bordeaux and  finally we took the direction to Paris. The French capital welcomed us by blue&grey colours, empty streets (August is the time when all Parisians are on a holiday) and leafs everywhere (autumn is coming!). But our mood was still happy and enthusiastic, mostly because of the company of Ama&Theo who prepared a great dinner for us and served us the whole sea of French vine. Few days of visiting Paris is nothing, but still we could watch the whole city landscape from the roof of the Medicine Academy (thanks to Ive who is a professor there), try marvellous seafood and have a walk around Montmartre...

Tapas - the blessing and the curse at the same time. First evening in San Sebastian.

Kids want more! Fireworks in San Sebastian.

Fiesta time in Basque Country. Everyone can find their home on the street.

Compass will always guide you home.

Cosy wooden cottage just near Bordeaux. The place where we were hosted and told a lot of dark secrets according to the house...

The most delicious cakes you can even imagine. Receipe is kept in secret and they are totally unique. Taste? Like heaven!

Late dinner and after-party at the bar. Crème brûlée was awesome!

Paris is quite empty in August. Even horses stay alone.

The Louvre makes you feel so small.

Montmarte is still one of the places where you could feel the spirit of Paris. But you really have to look for it.

Ama and Theo - this evening showed us the very best of Paris! It was better than any guide-book.

One of the many pubs in the gay district in Paris. Every picture is a piece of the unique story. Just look at people's face and use your imagination...

Look at the mirror before you go!

Luxembourg Gardens in Paris - you can rent your own boat and feel like a real seaman for a while :)

Now we send you lots of dreamy & smoky hugs from the heart of Amsterdam. And YES, we do have a lot of fun ;)

Lisboa, why did you do it to us?!

There are no words which can describe how much we love Portugal and Lisbon. Our project is called "Where is the home?" and it's wonderful that in the final point of our map we found a place which we would love to make our home one day. And it's not a joke - we already know where to learn Portuguese for free and we made kind of a very attractive deal according to renting nice flat there...
Wonderful landscapes and architecture, friendly people, untouched nature, ocean and mountains - all with that unique atmosphere which makes you to feel calm and happy. What is more, tourists are really not that common there, what supports an easy going life of aborigines. So, don't go there, because you'll start feeling unsatisfied with the life you have normally afterwards!
Everywhere, EVERYWHERE are all that little, decorated tiles. You will not find the same design that often. We were really amazed.
We found an old-school cocoa in glass bottle, which Portuguese children used to drink every day at school :) Delicious!
Swimming in between of an enormous group of seagulls was totally unexpected, but a wonderful experience. The sunset looks impressive, don't you think?
During a day you will easly find old houses of fishermen - now only for renting (forget about dishwasher - as you can see it's not 5 star hotel).
Have you ever seen how real fishermen work? Here you can watch the VIDEO as well:

Seafood is a national pride. We could experience how delitious are fresh fishes prepered by Portugues chef. It was poetry!
We are tourists, so... let's behave like tourists!
Sunny day, so... ice-cream must be.
Dogs (Jager and Sasha) haven't took a shower since a longer time... wash your hands before the lunch!
 Last night... party, party time!

More pictures on our Facebook tomorrow.

Is it all coincidence what happen to us?!

We can't believe in our luck, which today had name "Cindy and Roger". But... let's start from the beginning! We decided to be as stupid as possible and hitch-hike from Lisbon to San Sebastian during one day only (920km!). We got up at 6a.m., went to petrol station and during next 5 hours move for... 200km. We thought that will never leave Portugal this day, but than we saw that blue, old fashion van with young driver inside and we knew that it's not a coincidence. And even if we broke the law (4 people traveling in vehicle registered for 3), we achieved what we wanted – we send you regards from Basque country and go to drink to the blue van! :)
We were traveling with Cindy&Roger from Zurich for more than 700km. They had a bed in their car, so... we were sleeping the half of a way to recover after the whole night party with Loren Zo and Andy from Lisbon.

...and we love you Spain too!

It took us 1 day to get from France to Barcelona - and for the very first time we travelled in an old-fashioned van full of Spanish boys. We would never have expected all that suprises, which Spain had for us. We visited the most popular club in Barcelona and were dancing until morning, we met wonderful people, and accidentally spent an unforgettable evening with the Catalan family, eating dinner together, swimming in the pool by night and drinking Cava (orginall Catalan champagne). Everywhere we went, we were surrounded by the sounds of some Spanish guitars. And we could totally feel the spirit of Spain.

That evening we really felt like a part of these wonderful Catalan family. They invited us to their private world, and we will never forget this kind of hospitality and openess. Lluis, Adria - thank you so much.

Open air market in Barcelona - full of fresh fruits and vegetables, natural cheese, meat and everything you've ever wished to eat.

One of the most magical villages we've ever been to - Colonia Güell, near to Barcelona. The whole architecture was created by Gaudi and his pupil, its why the place is really special.  All the people there know each other, its why you will never be anonymouse there.

A flea market in Barcelona. Full of glamours, shiny little treasures.

Lleida - we used to spend our time there riding bicycles and watching the city from the roofs. And listening to Giermo, playing his guitar and singing us goodnight songs.

Small harbour on the Costa Brava. And the night spent on the boat, under the sky, waved by the water.

Daily routine can look like that.

New day is gonna to be born. And it's happening now.

Saying "good morning" to the sun. One of the wild beaches near to Tarragona, where we spent the night having party and watching the sunrise.

Having lunch in Madrid, with our French company. Tapas rules!

Street girls and street art. The whole wall of the building was covered with paintings, so the windows aren't real (watch carefully the left side of that picture!).

Even if we have been saying "goodbye" many times till now, we still haven't got used to these words. And that's the reason, why we always want to be back. And now we know, that a piece of Spain will be always our home - forever, whenever and ever. And as our friend already said: "Here is your home. The only thing you have to do, is just to come and knock the door."

More on Facebook - SOON.
